Q: What does the booking deposit cover?

The booking deposit secures your delivery month and production slot. It is applied toward your final costume balance. All booking deposits are non-refundable, as they reserve time and production capacity.


Q: What is the difference between Custom and Recap designs?

Custom designs are one-of-a-kind costumes created from a brand-new concept.
Recap designs are based on previous Pearl Dazzle designs and allow color changes only. Recap orders do not include new sketches or design changes.


Q: Can I change the design after it’s confirmed?

Once a design is confirmed, it is considered final. Changes to the design concept, motif, or structure are not accepted. Minor adjustments may be considered at Pearl Dazzle’s discretion only.


Q: Why is there a $50 design chat fee?

Each 1:1 design chat reserves a dedicated one-hour time slot with our designer. The $50 fee ensures serious bookings, protects availability for committed clients, and helps us provide focused, high-quality service. The fee is applied toward your total balance when the appointment is attended as scheduled.


Q: What happens if I miss or arrive late to my design chat?

Missed or late appointments do not extend the scheduled design chat time. A new design chat must be booked with a separate $50 fee.


Q: When do I need to submit my Design Form and Measurement Form?

Your Design Form must be submitted at least 2 months before your delivery month.
Your Measurement Form must be submitted before production begins. Late submissions may result in delays or order cancellation.


Q: Can I book early to save my spot?

Yes, but please avoid booking too early. Production typically begins about 3 months before your delivery month, and booking too far in advance may affect sizing accuracy.


Q: What if my dancer grows after measurements are submitted?

Costumes are made based on the measurements provided. If growth is expected, please select the appropriate fit preference (add room / leave room). Pearl Dazzle cannot be responsible for fit issues caused by incorrect or outdated measurements.


Q: Do you offer alterations?

Pearl Dazzle does not offer in-house alterations. Any alterations needed after delivery must be handled by a local tailor at the customer’s expense.


Q: When is the remaining balance due?

The remaining balance (if any), plus shipping fees, is due before shipping. We will send you photos of your costume along with the balance invoice.


Q: When will my costume arrive?

Costumes ship within your booked delivery month. A specific delivery date is not guaranteed.


Q: Do you offer rush service?

Rush service may be available for an additional fee, depending on production capacity. Rush orders must be approved before booking and are not guaranteed.


Q: Are deposits refundable if plans change?

No. All booking deposits, design chat fees, and production deposits are non-refundable, as they reserve time and resources.


Q: What if I stop responding or submit information late?

Client-caused delays (late replies, missing forms, incomplete information) may result in production delays, order cancellation, or loss of deposits.


Q: How do we communicate during the design process?

All design communication for the 2026–2027 season will take place through our official Pearl Dazzle WhatsApp number. Instructions will be sent via email after booking confirmation.


Q: Can Pearl Dazzle decline a project?

Yes. Pearl Dazzle reserves the right to decline or discontinue service if communication becomes disrespectful, unreasonable, or outside our working policies.

Custom Costume Policy & Ordering Process (2026–2027)

By placing a booking with Pearl Dazzle, you acknowledge and agree to all policies and procedures outlined below.


1. Types of Orders

Custom (One-of-a-Kind) Designs

Website bookings are exclusively for custom, original designs.
Custom designs must be:

Brand-new

Never previously created by Pearl Dazzle

Not replicas or copies of other designers’ work

Inspiration is welcome; duplicate copying is not accepted.

Recap Designs (Previous Pearl Dazzle Designs)

Recap designs are based on past Pearl Dazzle costumes and:

Allow color changes only

May include small motif/appliqué updates

Do not allow changes to motif, structure, or overall design

Are booked via a Recap Design Package or Etsy — not custom booking

Recap orders are typically faster and more affordable than full custom. 


2. Booking & Delivery Month Reservation

A booking deposit is required to reserve your delivery month and production slot.
The deposit:

Secures your production slot

Is non-refundable

Is applied toward your total costume priceBooking confirms your time allocation, not a finished design.


3. Package Pricing & Discounts

Pearl Dazzle offers multiple packages with volume discounts: Pearl Dazzle

Studio groups (10+ dancers) qualify for the highest discount tier. 


4. Required Timeline

To keep your reserved delivery month:

Submit the Design Form at least 2 months before delivery month

Submit the Measurement Form before production begins

Late or incomplete submissions may result in:
• Production delays
• Order cancellation
• Loss of booking/design fees 

Pearl Dazzle reserves the right to decline or discontinue service if communication becomes disrespectful or unreasonable.


5. Production Timeline & Expectations

Production typically begins about 3 months before your delivery month.
Example: For a November delivery, production starts in September. 

⚠️ Do not book too early — this helps ensure accurate sizing. 
⚠️ Late forms or late replies may move your order to the next available month. 


6. Design & Sketch Process

Every full-custom package includes sketches and revisions within that package scope.          Shine – 1 sketch + 1 revision

Sparkle – 1 sketch + up to 2 revisions

Dazzle – 2 sketches + up to 2 revisions each

Recap – No sketch included 

Sketch fee ($200) is included in all custom packages. 
Full style changes after sketch require a new sketch fee ($250)


7. Design Chat & Communication Policy

A 1:1 design chat requires a $50 design chat deposit:

Secures a one-hour dedicated design session

The $50 is applied to your total balance

Missed or Additional Appointments

Missed appointments may cause delays or order cancellation

Rescheduled or additional chats require a new $50 fee, self-paid and not credited


8. Design Form Policy

The Design Form is the binding reference for your custom costume.
Only information submitted on the form is guaranteed to be followed.
Messages, screenshots, or verbal requests outside the form are not binding.

Once a design is confirmed:

The design is final

No concept, motif, or structure changes are acceptedMinor adjustments are at Pearl Dazzle’s discretion

Please book the appropriate package that matches your design vision.


9. Sketch Approval & Production Deposit

Sketch review and approval occur during or after your design chat.
Once the design is approved:

A 50% production deposit may be required, depending on your package

You are welcome to pay in full if preferred

Production begins only after all required payments and forms are completed.


10. Measurement Policy

Costumes are made strictly according to the Measurement Form — no size charts are used.Pearl Dazzle

Clients are responsible for submitting accurate measurements.
Fit preferences (snug / add room / leave room) must be clearly selected.

Pearl Dazzle cannot be held responsible for fit issues due to incorrect measurements.
If unsure, you may send photos or videos for review.
Refer to our measurement guide “Pearl Dazzle – How to Measure a Dancer.” 

Default growth allowance (+1″) is added automatically. 


11. Payments, Shipping & Final Balance

Remaining balance (if any) plus shipping fees are due before shipping

We will send you costume photos along with the balance invoice

Costumes ship within the booked delivery month

Delivery month does not guarantee a specific delivery date 

Shipping Services

USA: FedEx 2-Day Express

International: FedEx Priority (approx. $45, 3–5 business days)

Rush service (~4 weeks) may be available for an additional fee ($200 busy / $100 off-season) if capacity allows. 


12. Refunds, Cancellations & Delays

All booking deposits, design fees, and production deposits are non-refundable

Once production begins, cancellations are not accepted

Client-caused delays (late replies, missing info) do not qualify for refunds or timeline extensions 


13. Policies & Communication

Deposits may roll into the next season if approved early

No included alterations; tailoring is customer’s expense 

Costumes ship with tamper-proof tags — removal voids eligibility for adjustments or returns 

Respectful communication is required; Pearl Dazzle reserves the right to decline service based on past interactions 


14. Final Notes

Pearl Dazzle is a small, artist-led custom studio.
Bookings are limited to ensure:

Dedicated creative focus

Design quality and attention to detail

Fair, realistic production timelines

Clear, thoughtful communication
